In-Kind Donations
One great and often more economical way to support the Chaparral Bands is by donating goods or services that can be used by the band in lieu of purchasing items or by selling items for 100% profit.

We keep an updated Amazon Wishlist to help donors to know what smaller purchases we need. If you find the item cheaper (or a generic equivalent) off of Amazon you are welcome to purchase and donate it in person.
Hire the Chaparral Bands

Money = opportunity when it comes to music education. The more money we can raise the more, and better quality, opportunities we provide to our students and to our community. Because schools are non profit organization any money you donate is tax deductible.
Volunteer
Running a band program is akin to running a small business or even a small community. Services are needed in almost any area conceivable. YOU have a skill that we need- guaranteed. Anything a volunteer does is something a staff member or a student does not need to do which means they can focus on teaching and learning!
In Kind Donation Current Needs
Cases of drinking water– we need cases of drinking water to be used for student hydration during performances. Students carry the bottles in small backpacks that are a part of their marching uniform. The bags are not large or strong enough to carry the gallon water jugs our students use during rehearsals. We are seeking 30-50 cases to be used by the marching band this year. Drop off at the band room to donate.
Meals for 50 students We occasionally need to feed the band during a trip or long performance. A kid friendly meal such as pizza would be best (15 pizzas) but we are open to other ideas as well. Contact enriqlm1@nv.ccsd.net if you would like to donate.
Vinyl Vehicle Wraps: Our 2 cargo trailers are in need of a fresh vinyl wrap. We would love to exchange these wraps for negotiable sponsorship recognition. contact jensed@nv.ccsd.net to donate
Local Hotel Stays and flights: We like to bring the worlds best talent in to work as guest teachers with our students whenever occasion permits. One of the biggest barriers to doing so is the cost of hotel stays here in Las Vegas and flights to get here.
